rant 1 and rave 2
例句-1:So I flunked 3 a quiz in history; I don't know why mom had to get so angry. She could have been more understanding. But instead of being cool, she ranted 4 and raved 5 about how I wasn't studying hard enough and would never go to college, and blah, blah, blah...
She still rants 6 and raves 7, only now by texting.
例句-2:I'm glad our last foreman was let go. Every time some little thing went wrong on the assembly line, he was ranting 8 and raving 9. The new guy is the complete opposite. He explains problems calmly, never getting agitated 10. I find his approach helps the team work a lot more effectively.
Did your husband ranted and raved all morning. Yes, he did.
Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers.
