例句-1:His boss have got money to burn.

例句-2:He must have money to burn.

This idiom refers to someone who has more money than he needs, so that he spends it on unnecessary 1 things.

1. Every time I see her I always find that she holds a new style of cell 2 phone. She must have money to burn.

2. I think the expensive car is probably not for me, unless I have the money to burn.
