[05:32.33]We are sitting in a cafe in old Quebec,drinking hot coffee to try to warm up.

[05:38.52]The temperature is 32 degrees below freezing.

[05:43.25]The windows are covered with steam from the heat inside.

[05:47.90]Outside,the snow covers the streets

[05:51.74]and is piled up along the sidewalks and in parking 5 lots.

[05:55.87]The music and lights of the carnival continue,

[06:12.30]Quebec carnival is the biggest winter festival in the world-every year,

[06:25.36]If you come,you must be prepared to keep moving,

[06:30.11]as it is too cold stand and watch for long.

[06:34.06]Early in the morning,you can watch the snowboarding competitions on the hill

[07:41.48]The dogs are beautiful strong animals,with long,thick fur.

[07:49.97]After admiring the ice sculptures 12 everywhere in the city,

[07:54.70]much like those in Harbin in China,

[07:58.17]you can have a cup of tea or coffee in an igloo.

[08:02.43]It is amazing how warm these ice houses can be!

[08:07.11]Late in the evening,you can go to the snow palace,

[08:11.96]where Bonhomme the snowman is king,and join the crowd.

[08:17.21]You can dance outside to the music of a band,

[08:21.58]who are all dressed in heavy clothes-

[08:24.92]even some of their instruments are dressed up for winter.

[08:29.36]Finally we sit down in our cafe to warm up and to plan tomorrow

[08:35.53]-perhaps we'll join the snowmobile races-or perhaps we'll just sleep in
