听遍美国之空难性新闻[2]:Disaster in Sports Stadium 1(1) South Africa

At least 43 people died and hundreds more were hurt in a stampede(2) at a soccer stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Police spokesman 2 Chris Wilkin says: “Some wanted to get onto the stadium and others wanted to get onto the playfield and then there was a stampede. And some then just scurried(3) everywhere to get away from all these masses of people”.

Wilkin said it was impossible to control 130,000 fans when the police were only expecting less than half of that number. You are listening ABC News.
