[00:30.54]A man was walking through a forest pondering life.

[00:36.31]He walked,pondered,walked,and pondered.

[00:42.37]He felt very close to nature and even close to God.

[00:48.43]He felt so chose to God that he felt if he spoke,God would listen.

[00:55.80]So he asked,"God,are you listening?"And God replied,

[01:02.96]"Yes,my son,I am here."The man stopped and pondered some more.

[01:14.48]"God,what is a million years to you?"God replied.

[01:22.13]"Well,my son,a second to me is like a million years to you."

[01:36.42]Then he looked to the sky again and sid."God,what is million dollars to you?"

[01:44.18]And God replied,"My son,my son..a penny to me is like a million dollars to you.

[01:53.03]It means almost nothing to me.It does not even have a value;it is so little."

[02:02.17]The man looked down,pondered a bit and then looked up to the sky again and said,

[02:09.44]"God,can I have a million dollars?"And God replied,"In a second."

[02:26.76]A man was enjoying a drink at the bar

[02:31.20]when an exceptionally gorgeous young woman entered.

[02:36.84]She was so striking that the man could not take his eyes away from her.

[02:43.00]The young woman noticed his overly-attentive stare and walked directly toward him.

[02:49.77]Before he could offer his apologies being so rude,

[02:55.73]the young woman said to him,"I'll do anything,absolutely anything,

[03:09.44]The man asked what the condition was.

[03:13.70]The young woman replied,

[03:17.56]"You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words."

[03:29.45]took his wallet from his pocket and slowly counted out five $20 bills,

[03:37.03]which he pressed into the young woman's hand.

[03:41.07]He looked deeply into her eyes and slowly,meaningfully said,"Paint my house."

[03:56.38]A woman accompanied her husband to the doctor's office.

[04:01.74]After his checkup,the doctor called the wife into his office alone.

[04:09.39]He said,"You husband is suffering from a very sever 1 disease,

[04:17.33]combined with horrible stress.

[04:22.06]If you don't do the following,your husband will surely die.

[04:28.23]Each morning,fix him a healthy breakfast.

[04:34.08]Bacon,scrambled eggs,pancakes,and things like that.

[04:40.24]Be pleasant,and make sure he is in a good mood.

[04:46.48]For lunch make him a nutritious 2 meal,with vegetables and fruits.

[04:54.64]For dinner prepare an especially nice meal for him.

[05:01.30]Don't burden him with chores,as he probably had a hard day.

[05:07.83]Don't discuss your problems with him;it will only make his stress worse.

[05:15.40]Tuck your kids into bed early in the evening.

[05:21.57]So he can enjoy the peace and quiet during the night.

[05:27.21]Most importantly,do the best you can to satisfy his every whim 3.

[05:46.28]On the way home,the husband asked his wife.

[05:52.94]"What did the doctor say?"

[05:56.70]"There's no cure for you disease,"she replied.

[06:09.29]One day a businessman travels to South America on business.

[06:17.34]He goes to many countries with great success,

[06:22.80]and he spends a vacation in the rain forest.

[06:28.36]But three weeks later

[06:32.20]he arrives home to find he's contracted a strange disease in his right leg.

[06:40.14]The doctor gives him the news that his leg has to be amputated.

[06:48.08]"But this is terrible,and I'll get a second opinion".

[06:54.35]So the man sees many doctors in America but they all come to the same conclusion.

[07:02.90]His leg has got to be chopped off.Then the man has an idea.

[07:11.15]"If it's a South America disease then why don't I consult a South America doctor!"

[07:19.80]So he makes an appointment with a doctor from Brazil.

[07:25.65]The man explains his problems,and the doctor gives a full examination.

[07:34.48]"No,I don't think amputation 5 is necessary,"says the doctor.

[07:42.94]The patient is very happy.

[07:48.01]"Great!I've seen dozens of doctors from all over the country.

[07:56.26]They all said amputation was the only way."

[08:01.33]"Any doctor worth his salt could tell you

[08:06.79]that it'll drop off by itself in four or five weeks!"

[08:12.72]Five Arthur Conan Doyle in Paris

[08:21.66]Arthur Conan Doyle,the creator of Sherlock Holmes,

[08:27.53]was waiting at a cab stand outside the railway station in Paris.

[08:34.80]When a cab pulled up,he lifted his suitcase onto the back seat,

[08:41.87]climbed in after it,and was about to name his destination,when the driver spole.

[08:49.92]"Where can I take you,Mr.Doyle?"he asked.

[08:55.80]This was long before photography was widespread,and Doyle was surprised.

[09:33.02]I know that this is the taxi stand where people on the marseille train exit the station.

[09:41.28]Your tan tells me you have been on vacation.

[09:46.55]The ink spot on your right index finger suggests to me that you are a writer.

[09:55.70]And your clothing is clearly English,not French.

[10:01.86]Adding up all those pieces of information,

[10:06.43]I deduce that you are Sir Arthur Conan Doyle."

[10:13.09]"That is truly amazing,"Doyle said.

[10:19.44]"You're a real-life counterpart to my fictional 6 creation,Sherlock Holmes."

[10:27.20]"There is one other thing,"the driver said.

[10:33.36]"What is that?""Your name is on the frot of your suitcase."
