1. European stocks slipped after Eurozone finance ministers failed to reach a final deal to get Greece its next installment 1 of bailout money. Officials say they expect Greece will get the next 12-billion-Euro installment in July. Greece is facing a default that could cause finance chaos 2.


2. Syria's president says saboteurs are trying to exploit demands for a reform in the country. The comment came during what was just the third public address by President Bashar Assad since the country's uprising began in March.


3. Wind gusts 3 up to 60 miles per hour having aided a raging wildfire in Arizona. But those winds are expected to die down today. The so-called monument fire has forced about 10,000 people from their homes.


4. Alyssa Campanella from California is America’s latest Miss USA. The 21-year-old from Los Angeles beat out 50 other hopefuls and will represent the United States at the Miss Universe competition in Brazil in September.
