    1. Late goals by Peter Crouch 1 and Steven Gerrard helped England post a 2-0 victory over World Cup debutant Trinidad & Tobago.
那“几比几战胜某队”就可以说成是 post a (number) - (number) victory over……
    2. Sweden scores first goal of '06 Cup, downs Paraguay.
    3. Switzerland beat Togo 2-0, while Ukraine trounced Saudi Arabia 4-0.
    4. Portugal qualified 2 for the knockout stage after easing past Iran 2-0 in Frankfurt.
    5. Germany whitewashed 3 Ecuador 3-0 to top Group A at the World Cup on Tuesday.
In Berlin, German star striker Miroslav Klose scored his third and fourth goal at the 2006 World Cup, helping 4 the hosts crash Ecuador 3-0 in their last Group A match.
    6. Poland came from behind to beat Costa Rica 2-1 to finish third in Group A, and Paraguay upset Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 to be the third-placers of Group B.
