　　A 73-year-old grandmother has wowed Chinese social media with her edgy 1 fashionable photos.

　　Since retiring, the grandmother from Xiamen, China's Fujian province, has been exploring areas of the country that she had dreamed of visiting such as Tibet.

　　Huang Yanzhen settled in Xiamen with her children when they were young. She says that after the Qinghai-Tibet railway opened in the 1980s, she had dreamed of seeing the beauty of Tibet but had to stay in her job and work hard for her children.
　　当孩子们还小时，黄炎贞和他们一起生活在厦门。她表示，上世纪80年代，青藏铁路刚开通时，她就梦想着能去看看美丽的西藏，然而却因忙于工作和照顾孩子而脱不开身。
　　However since retiring she realised she would finally be able to achieve her dream. She walked through the desert parts of Tibet and got to see Qinghai lake.

　　The photographer Jesse Ding, 31, told MailOnline that he got to know the grandmother through his godmother.

　　He said: 'In the shooting, she was very supportive of me and I am hoping more people can see these photos so that Chinese elderly ladies can be seen as elegant 6 and rich.'
