"Let's do a spooky play," said Carmen. "We can scare all the little kids."

"Here's what you need," said Miss Pencil. "It's called Spooky Plays. My favorite is "The Mommy's Toe."

Fox and the gang went home to practice. "The Mommy's Toe" was very scary.

Dexter played the mommy.
德克斯特扮演木乃伊，
Carmen was the princess.
卡门扮演公主，
And Fox was the hero.
而小狐则扮演英雄。
Soon things were moving right along.
一切都顺利得进行着。
Fox and Dexter worked hard on the set.
小狐与德克斯特忙活着舞台布景，
And Carmen put up posters all over town.
卡门则在全镇贴满海报进行宣传。
